Not knowing what's coming is one of the hardest places to stand. Scripture has a lot to say about it.
// the word for this moment
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
Joshua 1:9 (KJV)“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)Fear of the future usually isn't really about the future — it's about not having a plan, and feeling like you should. Jeremiah 29:11 was written to people in exile, with no clear way home, no timeline, nothing certain except that someone else had a plan even when they couldn't see it. You're not required to have the next five years mapped out. You're invited to trust the One who already does.
