Zeal for God is not a mad-rush after vanity. We don’t serve a blind God. We serve a God who sees, judges righteously, and rewards accordingly. I’m a lover of prayer. I pray a lot. I can’t number the hours of prayers that I’ve invested in my life and destiny. But prayers alone won’t earn anyone God’s favour and blessings. When we talk about sowing a seed and receiving a hundredfold, it’s not just about money. Whoever told you it’s about you giving him/her your money and your bank balance will miraculously multiply, lied to you. You say, “things are so difficult in my life,” then you sow a seed with your last penny. I love your faith. But make sure you’re not using your money to gamble with God, then sitting back and expect a huge “cash out.” God is not a money doubler. Zeal for God is a child of God desperate to see souls saved, drawn to God and transformed. That supersedes any amount of money one might be ‘giving to God’ and the most powerful prayer for blessings. God *RICHLY* blesses it.
