An Enemy Has Done This. In Matthew 13:24, the Lord Jesus told the disciples a parable about a farmer who planted good seeds. But afterwards, an enemy came by and also planted weeds among those good seeds, then went his way. Jesus knows that the enemy is sneaky, so we didn't see Him blame the farmer in this scenario. The enemy loves to operate unnoticed, that is why we need the Holy Spirit. That is why the Holy Spirit reveals hidden works of darkness. That is why we must *watch and pray!* One could live in an apartment for two years, three years, without knowing what the enemy has sown in that apartment against them. It's not always because something is inherently evil about that apartment or location. Sometimes it's simply because you're a child of God and you're constantly under the enemy’s surveillance. So he keeps tabs on you wherever you go; wherever you reside, he assigns and attaches his demons. You might be wondering why things aren't moving well for you, you've been praying... but have you actually asked God to reveal the hidden works of the enemy against you? The evil he has done for the sole purpose of dragging backwards your progress and pulling you down? Let it not surprise you that most of those works are done against you right in your apartment, where you sleep! That is why *you need to fast and pray!* You might not be so committed to prayer when you're not fasting. *Fast consistently* — that has been my lifestyle. Fasting should become part and parcel of your life. There's a prophetic church I occasionally attended in my hometown before I relocated. God once showed me the pulpit of that church sealed by cobwebs (spiderweb). The pastor was there preaching, the choir singing. Yet, the pulpit sealed by cobwebs from one end to the other. I shared it with the pastor and he was shocked. Satan desperately attacks what God plants. Be wise! Fast consistently! Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the hidden evil the enemy has done against you.
