Do Not Boast About Tomorrow James 4:13-14 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. The deception about this life, about youth moreso is that today you are strong, healthy, quick, young and literally tomorrow you can be connected to oxygen tubes fighting for your dear life. Today you are partying, tomorrow you are fighting for dear life! Strength and health are gifts from God, but the devil has given the world an illusion that they last forever, that you survive based on your own strength! But you will realise the truth once you are lying on a hospital bed, you begin to ask your self, where is my strength gone to? Where did my health go? And thats when you realise, oh my God I wasted time! And you realise if I die now, I have nothing to show God! What will I show for the years I lived on earth? I lived selfishly! Strength is a gift,good health is a gift, functioning body parts are a gift, but the one who gave us these gifts will at one point require that we come with results, results that show that we used these gifts according to His Will, to glorify Him at all times, to Love Him, to serve Him. Because see this now, If I had the strength to go from my home to go and fornicate in another neighbourhood, in another city, I had the strength also to Evangelize for Him in another city, If I had the time to watch and participate in arguments on Facebook all day, I possible had the healthy eyes to read the Bible! So there wont be an excuse. Nowhere to hide. No one to blame. No one to shield me. Not my father,mother, pastor. I will stanf before the King of Kings to answer! Be blessed!
