BE FILLED BY THE LOVE OF GOD!! 1 Corinthians 13:3 Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or in order that I may glory, but have not love (God's love in me), I gain nothing. The INTENT/MOTIVE behind whatever we do is much more valueable than the ACTION itself. So it is possible to do a good thing but the intention behind that thing is false before God!. So imagine you are in church, you are in ushering, you are a prophet, a praise and worship leader, or even decor, to the common man you are serving the Lord, urikushandira Mwari, but ultimately what God will weigh is not the title or the office, but He will weigh the Heart behind our actions. Do you remember the verse that says some in that day will say but God I prophesied in your name and cast out demons etc, but He will reply Depart from Me i never knew you, you worker of Iniquity! Why? because yes the Action was Noble, but the Heart or intention behind the action was full of pride,selfishness, self-glory, power hungry etc. The titles we carry in life to God are useless, we may carry them as badges of Honor but when God says He measures and judges the Hearts of Men, He knows that thats where the True You lies. So before I boast about how accurate my prophecies are, how powerful of a preacher are, how noone can sing like me, I should be more worried about my intention, about how clean my heart is before God because in that finalDay, I might be shocked when Jesus will say despite all what you did, I never knew you, you were just a noisy gong!! The Holy Spirit will never stop working juat because of Us, so we should never be fooled that even though im living in secret sin, the moment I oreach or sing, wonders and miracles still Happen, let us not be deceived that is Not God appoving of our sinful lifestyle!
