When Love made Obedience easier

Yesterday morning I decided to fast for half day. I thought I'll eat by 10AM and then I'll start fasting by 11AM onwards. I decided all this without telling Holy Spirit. I've kept such fasts many times when I'm unable to fast for whole day.

As I was preparing food for my family Holy Spirit ministered to me. I started talking to Him and he started showing me Jesus in Book of John I'm currently reading. He went back and forth and unfolded more about Jesus.

By the end I was so filled with love for Christ that I chose to fast for whole day. I then firmly believed that God will help me go by day.

In afternoon I realised why God wanted me to fast for whole day.

What I learnt from this is to allow more of Holy Spirit. I realised that Love makes things easier. Had I tried fasting for whole day I would have ended it in grumbling but then love made it possible ❤️
