Six Amazing Facts About Penguins (And A Lesson for Us Christians)

I was reading these interesting facts about penguins 🐧 in a textbook at work and I found a spiritual lesson.

I will share the first four things about them, but from the last two I learnt a spiritual lesson. I hope you will appreciate this as I did.

2. Penguins 🐧 chicks are not waterproof The chicks must stay out of the water and their parents bring them food until they get their waterproof feathers.

3. There were once giant Penguins 🐧 😳 Most Penguins 🐧 are about two feet tall, some are about three feet tall. But once there were five-foot-tall Penguins 🐧, as tall as humans.

4. Ancient Penguins 🐧 had red and grey feathers 🪶 😍 Scientist figured this out.

Here comes the lesson 5. Penguins 🐧 fast Penguins 🐧 fast while their feathers 🪶 change every year. When their new waterproof feathers 🪶 are growing they cannot go in the water to get food. So they fast for two to five weeks.

(What I gleaned was that when we are going through changes in life, moving from one level to another, fasting is required to sustain us in that other level).

6. Male emperor Penguins 🐧 fast to protect their eggs. Some kinds of Penguins 🐧 fast to protect their families. Male emperor Penguins 🐧 fast to warm their eggs and protect them. Their fasting can last 90 to 120 days.

Wow!!! How much of us believers fast to protect our families? This should absolutely be a requirement especially in these evil days.
